6th session of CLIVAR Climate Dynamics Panel 

The 6^th session of CLIVAR Climate Dynamics Panel (CDP-6) is planned to be held on 11 August at ICTP, Trieste, Italy, with an online option available.  CDP-6 will be organized in conjunction with the 4^th Summer School on Theory, Mechanisms and Hierarchical Modeling of Climate Dynamics: Atlantic Variability and Tropical Basin Interactions at Interannual to Multi-Decadal Time Scales, and the workshop on Atlantic Variability and Tropical Basin Interactions at Interannual to Multi-decadal Timescales: Mechanisms, Drivers and Impacts.

Agenda

CDP has regular online scientific discussions, so this in-person meeting will focus on the CDP business, discussing future directions and activities that can be organized by CDP as a whole.

1. Discussion of TROPICS WG and ForceMIP activities
2. Brain storming of other future activities, e.g. perspective paper, future workshops/schools, etc
3. Input toward WCRP OSC in Kigali (Sarah will attend, Aixue maybe)
4. Discussion of CDP membership, who is rotating off and nomination of new members
