The object of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of stablishing a biannual CLIVAR-IOC/ODC Joint Summer School, beginning in the summer of 2018. The Summer School would create an excellent opportunity for Early career Scientists from around the world to have a first-hand experience on current topics of relevance in Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences.
A road map is being developed that will allow this training opportunity to become a reality. Please stay tuned to follow the developments of this new and exciting event.
