East Asian Climate under Global Warming: Understanding and Projection
Welcome to EAC 2016 Workshop
Theme: East Asian Climate under Global Warming: Understanding and Projection
Date and venue: 24-25 March, 2016, Beijing Normal University
Website: http://ljp.gcess.cn/dct/page/65631
Objectives:
East Asia is located in the southeast part of the Eurasian continent. It is bordered on the east by the Pacific Ocean and on the southwest by the Tibetan Plateau. The unique geographic features produce distinct climate characteristics over this region. The study of East Asian Climate (EAC) was listed as the Subproject #25 in the AMIP–CMIP project. This workshop is aimed at studying the EAC variability and extremes, their changes and predictability under global warming; promoting the development of detection, prediction, projection and modeling studies; bringing together scientists with the same interests and boosting the exchange of ideas.
