2018 International AMOC Science Meeting

The meeting will provide a good opportunity for scientists to exchange ideas and develop a better understanding of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) and its influence on weather, climate, and ecosystems.

In preparation for the meeting, ICPO has compiled a list of sessions proposed by CLIVAR Scientists as well as a list of sessions that are related to CLIVAR Science at the 2018 OSM. Abstracts submission deadline: September 6, 2017.

A joint Statement on Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Cooperation has been signed between EU, South Africa and Brazil
Submitted by Jing Li on Tue, 2017-07-18 07:22The European Union will further boost its research and innovation cooperation with its strategic partners Brazil and South Africa in order to better understand marine ecosystems and climate. The South Atlantic Research and Innovation Flagship Initiative has been launched and a joint Statement on Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Cooperation has been signed among EU, Brazil and South Africa on July 13, 2017.
